Mobile On-Site DPF Cleaning & Regeneration
Eliminate towing fees and multi-day repair shop delays. JTECH DPF deploys fully equipped mobile emissions technical units directly to your terminal, truck yard, job site, or regional facility in Kitchener, Waterloo Region, and Southwestern Ontario.
1. What Mobile DPF Cleaning Involves
Our mobile service brings commercial-grade electronic diagnostics, forced-regeneration hardware, and specialized chemical/pneumatic cleaning equipment directly to the side of your truck. Instead of unbolting the exhaust and waiting days for shipping, our technicians connect to your vehicle's electronic control module (ECM), assess live aftertreatment backpressure data, and apply targeted cleaning solutions to dissolve trapped carbon soot and restore exhaust flow.
Live differential pressure reading, sensor verification, and ECM fault code clearing.
Dissolves soot buildup and executes safe, controlled parked active regeneration.
2. Who Is This Service Intended For?
- Highway Haulers with Active DPF Lights: Trucks derated or threatened with derate while parked at terminals along the Highway 401 corridor.
- Commercial Logistics & Delivery Fleets: Fleets that cannot afford to pull 5 or 10 trucks off the road simultaneously. We perform scheduled evening or weekend yard sweeps while drivers rest.
- Vocational & Off-Highway Equipment: Dump trucks, concrete mixers, municipal utility vehicles, and heavy construction equipment that cannot legally or easily be driven across city streets.
3. How the Mobile Service Process Works
Arrival & Telemetry Scan
We connect OEM-level diagnostic tooling to pull freeze-frame aftertreatment fault codes and read live soot load percentages.
Physical & Sensor Inspection
We inspect differential pressure sensor tubes, exhaust gas temperature (EGT) probes, and check for upstream oil or coolant leaks.
On-Site Carbon Dissolution & Regen
Depending on the soot severity, we introduce specialized cleaning agents and command a safe, monitored stationary regeneration cycle.
Post-Service Backpressure Verification
We confirm that differential pressure has returned to normal operating thresholds, verify that derates are cleared, and document completion.
4. What Customers Should Prepare for Mobile Service
- Safe Parking Surface: Asphalt or concrete pavement. Due to high exhaust temperatures during regeneration (500°C+), vehicles must not be parked over tall grass or dry combustible brush.
- Adequate Clearance: At least 1.5 meters of clearance around the exhaust stack or underside tailpipe.
- Vehicle Details Ready: Truck make, year, engine model (e.g. Detroit DD15, Cummins X15), and current dashboard warning light status.
5. Mobile Service Limitations: When Workshop Service Is Required
Mobile on-site cleaning is exceptional for soot reduction and restoring active regeneration. However, it cannot remove heavy incombustible ash that has accumulated over 250,000+ kilometers. Dense ash can only be extracted by physically unbolting the filter canister and placing it on an industrial reverse-pulse pneumatic flow bench.
If our mobile diagnostic inspection reveals deep ash packing, internal substrate melting, or cracked ceramic cell walls, our technicians will explain the situation honestly and arrange for drop-off at our Kitchener workshop facility.
Frequently Asked Questions About Mobile DPF Service
What cities does JTECH DPF cover for mobile dispatch?
We provide on-site mobile service across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and the broader Southwestern Ontario regional logistics corridor.
How long does a mobile DPF appointment typically take?
Most mobile diagnostic and cleaning appointments are completed in 1.5 to 3 hours, allowing the vehicle to resume duty on the same day.
Can mobile cleaning clear an engine derate?
If the derate was triggered by soot accumulation and backpressure, our cleaning and software routine can reset the condition once physical pressure drops back within factory limits.
